Amazon wish list – we called and you answered

Last month we reached out to all of you for help. Tiffany and Caley are two of Polaris Project’s clients and we’re currently helping them rebuild their lives. Often clients we serve come to us with little or no possessions and we provide them with the tools they need to get back on their feet. We set up an online wish list for Tiffany and Caley with the hopes that supporters like you would help us fulfill these needs, and you did.

Many of you sent heartfelt messages, many of you purchased items, and many of you helped us spread the word about the wish list. We’re happy to report that both Tiffany and Caley gave birth to two beautiful healthy babies in August. Both were moved by the kindness from supporters that purchased items from the Amazon wish list. Tiffany asked us to share this thank you note with you:

To all the people who donated stuff for my son,

I really appreciate all the things that Shannon received. I was very concerned about the main things I needed for him, and I am very glad I don’t have to worry about them anymore. His clothes are adorable and his stroller/car seat is really nice and extremely comfortable for him.  His little bouncer seat comes in great handy when I have to clean and he wants to be rocked. And his little froggy towel and wash cloth set looks so cute on him (and keeps him warm after his bath!) and his bathtub is comfy for him and extremely convenient for me.

Thank you so much for taking that load of worry off my mind,
Tiffany & Baby Shannon

From Tiffany, Caley, and Polaris Project, thank you to everyone who donated, shared the blog with friends, re-tweeted the link to the Amazon wish list, or posted the blog on Facebook. We wouldn’t have been able to provide Tiffany and Caley with the items they needed without help from all of you!
